The Rooted in Nature stamp set is very versatile and works well for birthday, sympathy, masculine and even Christmas cards. Today I am sharing the Christmas card set that I made. I used Gold Foil Sheets as an accent on each card.
The background is done with the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder (it’s carrying over into the Annual Catalog – yay).
This card uses the Softly Falling Embossing Folder (which is continuing) and the Lots of Labels Framelits (which is retiring, so get it ordered if you don’t have it).
For this card I cut a template using the Layering Ovals Framelits and then sponged Tranquil Tide in the oval opening. The stamped the tree twice inside the oval and then another tree on scrap Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating Nature’s Roots Framelits.
It was fun making Christmas cards in April and this set works great to give that Christmas feel.
