Have you seen the Santa Stache stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. The first time I saw this set it kind of "creeped" me out. I'm not fond of nutcrackers — I have a nephew who collects them — but I find them a little scary. I didn't order this stamp set right away but I kept looking at it. I saw a few samples and the Santa is kind of cute so I ordered it. I started using the nutcracker image and am finding I like it. I love cutting out the mustache with the mustache framelit and popping it up on dimensionals for a 3-D look.
This card was made at this month's Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class. The class featured the Under the Tree designer paper. This piece gave me my base color– Early Espresso. I colored the nutcracker with Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities so I added small layers of each cardstock to blend it all together. I am very happy with the way this card turned out. I hope you enjoy it too.
