I love doing the Twelve Days of Christmas at work.
I have a project to share with you each day up to
Christmas — that’s twelve projects.
On the First Day of Christmas my true love gave to me…..
a Santa-sizer (that’s a hand sanitizer in a Santa Suit.
I bought the hand sanitizers at Bath & Body Works (cool shape this year).
I used a piece of Real Red card stock that is 2 1/2″ x 11″ — score at 5″ and 6″
The belt is 1″ x 2 1/2″ Basic Black card stock
The belt buckle is Silver Glimmer paper — 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″.
The belt inside the buckle is 1″ x 1″.
I glued these pieces together with the Tombow Multi Purpose (green) Glue.
Hold top edges together and punch oval opening for handle.
Inside to hold the sanitizer I cut a piece of Real Red card stock 2 1/2″ x 4″
Score it at 1″, 2″ and 3″ — creating four 1″ x 2 1/2″ rectangles.
Use the Scallop Oval Punch to punch out the center of the
second rectangle.
I put a dot in the center to help me guide where to punch.
Fold this piece on all score lines and glue inside the “jacket” strip.
Put hand sanitizer inside the box.
Tie shut with ribbon.
This would be a perfect gift for a teacher, bus driver, post office worker.
Just about anyone would enjoy this little cutie.
