Cheerful Daisies Box of Chocolates

During last night’s FB Live, I shared this fabulous Cheerful Daisies Box of Chocolates
that is perfect for Mother’s Day and goes with last week’s Cheerful Daisies Card.

Last week I used Lemon Lolly (a new core color) and Boho Blue (a new In Color)
for a bright cheery card for Mother’s Day.  Now we needed a gift to go with the card.
My customers LOVE Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels so I decided we needed a box
that holds 4 of these delicious candies and I decorated it with the daisies that go
with the card.  My box inspiration came from a box my upline/sister, Tina Rappe, made for me.

The box is easy to make.  I’ve included the measurements and a video to help you.

MEASUREMENTS:
Boho Blue Box Base — 6″ x 6″ — score 3/4″ & 1 1/2″ on all 4 sides
1st Divider — 3″ x 4 1/2″ — with 4 1/2″ edge at top — score at 1 1/2″, 2 1/4″, 3″
2nd & 3rd Divider — 2 pieces – 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ — with 4 1/2″ edge at top — score at 1 1/2″, 2 1/4″, 3″
Lemon Lolly Box Lid — 6″ x 6″ — score at 5/8″, 1 notch less than 1 1/2″ on all 4 sides
Window Sheets — 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Fun Card with Crafting with You

I have a fun card with Crafting with You Bundle to share today.

I used Berry Burst for the card base, with a layer of Bubble Bath.
Check out the Paper Trimmer cut from a new In Color Pebbled Path.
This paper trimmer die is awesome — you can actually slide the designer paper into the trimmer
so it looks like you can cut it.  So adorable!!!

 

Measurements:
Berry Burst — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Cut top half of card front off — 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″; scraps
Bubble Bath — 2 pieces — 2 1/2″ x 4″
Basic White — 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″; 2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″; 2″ x 2″
Pebbled Path — 2″ x 3″
Smoky Slate — 1 1/2″ x 3″
Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper — 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″; 1″ x 2 1/2″

Fun with Irresistible Blooms

In this month’s Coffee, Cocoa & Cards Class we had Fun with Irresistible Blooms Bundle
and Hello, Irresistible Designer Paper.  We also used some new or returning colors — Pretty Peacock,
Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly and Flirty Flamingo.


The Designer Paper did all the work — it is so gorgeous.

I love the detail on this paper.  This piece looks like it’s embossed with White Embossing Powder,
but it isn’t — it’s the printed paper.  Isn’t it beautiful?

Fun fold cards are always a hit and this center panel step card turned out great.

The final card has lots going on.  It’s a vertical card that opens for the greeting but
also has a box on the front that will fold flat to fit in the envelope.
These flowers are die cut from the designer paper.

The Irresistible Blooms Bundle and Designer Paper are part of the Online Exclusive collections and is
definitely a wonderful find.  The designer paper makes it so easy to make beautiful card in a snap.
