In the Country Just a Note

In the Country Just a Note is a wonderful card to send a little message to someone.
I used the Sale-a-Bration In the Country Stamp Set — you can choose this FREE with a $50 order.
This stamp set is gorgeous with some watercoloring but I decided to stay with sweet & simple.

 

In the Country Stamp Set, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Night of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon, Small Blending Brushes, Sale-a-Bration, Stamp with Peggy

 

I stamped the image and greeting with Smoky Slate ink, then used the new Small Blending Brushes
to lightly brush Smoky Slate ink around the image.
The background is embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to add some
fun texture to the card.  I added a piece of the new Night of Navy 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon behind the
stamped image panel — this ribbon is going to be a new favorite!!

 

MEASUREMENTS:
Night of Navy — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
Smoky Slate — 4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White — 2 1/2″ x 4″; 4″ x 5 1/4″
Night of Navy 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon — 6″

Fun with Easter Bunny Bundle

Today we’re having Fun with Easter Bunny Bundle and the Country Gingham Designer Paper.
Easter is a couple months away, but we can start playing to have a few cards on hand.

The Country Gingham Designer Paper is one of my favorites in the Spring Mini Catalog.
The colors are perfect for Spring.
For this card, I used Petal Pink and Mint Macaron for a very soft Easter look.

I used the Basic Borders Dies for the fun zig zag Mint Macaron border.
This fun little bunny was fussy cut — the punch doesn’t work for this bunny but it’s a quick cut.
