Trees for Sale Christmas Card

Today’s Trees for Sale Christmas Card is sweet and simple but so very pretty.
Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent were the perfect color combo for Christmas trees.

 

Trees for Sale Stamp Set, Bricks & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, Festive Pearls, Christmas, Stamp with Peggy


I started with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for the background.
The Designer Paper strip is from the 2021-2023 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper Pack, I love the light
and dark contrast in the paper.  I used this same contrast when stamping the trees,
Evening Evergreen on the outside trees and Soft Succulent on the middle tree.

The trees are stamped on a square cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies, then mounted on
Soft Succulent and then an Evening Evergreen Stylish Shapes Die.
I added some Festive Pearls for a little added bling.
This card would be easy to mass produce to send to all your friends & family.

Christmas / Hand Made Cards

Ho Ho Ho Paper Pumpkin Hanging

One of my projects with this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit was this fun Ho Ho Ho Paper Pumpkin Hanging.
Each month I get my Paper Pumpkin Kit and sit down to design different projects than the kit is intended for.
Each month I design 4 cards and usually a framed art or treat holder.

The October Ho Ho Ho Kit was so much fun to work with — I loved it!!
When I saw the Santa die cut, hohoho, Merry and lots of snowflakes, I knew I had to
make a framed art piece and Dollar Tree came to the rescue with a Fall hanging that was transformed in this
adorable hanging.  Some simple layers of cardstock were added to the wall hanging that I found at Dollar Tree (it is filled with lots of fall colors and scenes) and viola. There was definitely
potential with this item and I couldn’t wait to make this Ho Ho Ho Paper Pumpkin Hanging.
I did take the original ribbon off and added this fun frayed white to the back of each panel.

Here’s a close-up of the first panel.
Santa and reindeer are stamped on the starry panel that came in the kit.

The second card has a fun Santa face in the middle of JOY and snowflakes added beside the “J” and “Y”.

November Card Sketch Challenge

Last night for my Facebook Live, I shared my November Card Sketch Challenge.
The card I demonstrated used the Fond of Autumn Bundle with Rustic Harvest Designer Paper
and Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I shared a second card using the Card Sketch but I changed to the Leaves of Holly Bundle and Boughs of Holly Designer Paper with Bricks & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

Our trees have lost most of their leaves so this card reminds me of the beauty of fall.

I wanted to show how different a card can look when using the same layout and
changing the stamp set and designer paper.  This card is filled with Christmas colors,
holly leaves and berries and extra texture with the Textural Elements that have been
colored with Stampin’ Blends.
