Perched in a Tree Christmas

Perched in a Tree Christmas card has a soft, gentle feel.
The Aspen Tree Die is the main focus of this card.

I stamped little dots with Soft Succulent on a piece of Soft Succulent
The die is cut from Basic White and adhered to the dotted layer to give
a fun snow like background behind the trees.

I love how the greeting layer is tucked behind the oval edge of the trees
to continue the soft look.
The bird is stamped with Memento and colored with Stampin’ Blends.

We aren’t really ready to start Christmas planning but it definitely helps our
state of mind to get a few cards ready.

Soft Seedlings Fall Hello

Soft Seedlings Fall Hello
The Soft Seedlings stamp set coordinates with the Rustic Harvest Designer Paper
and has such a Fall feeling.  I made a fun fold card that helped show off
two of the fabulous prints.

The leaf is inked up with Crushed Curry ink, then use a Sponge Dauber
to add Cajun Craze ink around the edges.  This gives such a realistic look to the leaf.
