Fun with Playful Pets Suite

Have you seen the Playful Pets Suite on page 40-41 of the Annual Catalog?
This is such an adorable suite and you don’t have to be a dog or cat lover to enjoy it.

This card has no stamping at all.
The Playful Pets Designer Paper has a bunch of printed cats & dogs that you can cut
out with paper snips or better yet, use the coordinating dies to cut out some of the pets.

Jar of Daisies

Today’s card is filled with a mix of products and lots of texture!!
I love the new Jar Punch and it makes great cards without using the coordinating stamp set.
The Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder gave a wonderful background with lots of fun texture.
Petal Pink and Smoky Slate go together so well and then I added a piece of the
Peony Garden Designer Paper that adds a little more texture.

The Sprigs Punch and Soft Seafoam cardstock worked great for leaves.
The finishing touches were the Linen Thread tied around the jar and
the Gilded Gems for the center of the daisies.

Summer Sunflowers

The sun is shining, the weather is warm — summer is definitely in full swing.
Gardens are growing like crazy, spring flowers are gone and summer flowers are blooming.
Today’s card reminds me of summer and the sun.
I used Bumblebee, one of this year’s In Colors for the card base.
The Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder added a great feel to the Whisper White cardstock.

I love the sunflower peeking through the window.
Cinnamon Cider was perfect for the center of the sunflower
and the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon added the finishing touch.
