Creative Escape with Peggy

What an amazing weekend I had!!!

My first Creative Escape with Peggy has come and gone.
I had so much fun with 18 wonderful ladies.
The room was full of stamping and scrapbooking supplies.

Everyone received this fun bag filled with supplies and extra goodies for the weekend.

The kit held supplies for two classes (9 cards total), a stamp set, Country Club Designer Paper, Country Club Twine Combo Pack, Best Dressed Designer Paper, Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets,
Scalloped Note Cards and Dimensionals.

First gift

Saturday morning everyone received this fun Tootsie Pop holder as a little Thank You for attending.

Everyone stayed busy until about 10:00 Saturday night working on their make & takes,
projects they brought with them or Optional Classes they signed up for.
There were lots of laughs, funny stories and lots of tips shared.

After dinner I had another fun little treat item for everyone.

I put some mini Krispie Treats inside Stampin’ Up!’s Heart Foil Tins and decorated them with Heart Doilies,
From My Heart Designer Paper and the phrase from the Heartfelt Stamp Set.
I saw this on Pinterest and thought is was so adorable.

Saturday night I put out a Popcorn Bar.
We had bowls of Good & Plenty, Gummi Bears, M & M’s (both plain and peanut, of course),
peanuts and Swedish Fish that could be added to our bowl of popcorn.
This was a HUGE hit!!!

Sunday morning I gave Thank You KISSES to everyone before they left.
I can’t thank them all enough for their support.

Kid’s Valentine Class

Last night I held a Kid’s Valentine Class. We used the January Paper Pumpkin Kit and each child attending received their own Paper Pumpkin box. They were so excited to open the pretty red box and find a clear block inside along with a Mint Macaron Stampin’ Spot and a stamp set. Then they opened up the pretty blue paper that looks like a present, to find the fabulous Valentine kit full of supplies to make 20 treat holders, 10 – 3″ x 3″ note cards, banners, gold edge circles and rectangles to stamp little greetings on along with little die cut bees, white twine and adhesive backed sequins. The kids loved all the fun goodies in their boxes. They especially liked that they got to keep the stamp set, block and Stampin’ Spot just for them.

It looks like I missed taking Katyrose’s picture – darn. These kids all did such a great job — their moms or grandmas helped with mini glue dots and dimensionals but the kids did all of the stamping and most of the assembling. I love to see these new, buddy stampers. We even had a 6 month old “stamping” for the first time — gotta start ’em young, right!!!

Paper Pumpkin kits are fabulous for all ages and all levels of stampers but kids REALLY enjoy them. They feel quite grown up with their very own stamps and ink.

Bingo Fun

It’s been a busy week. Last Saturday my sister, Tina and I held a demonstrator event where everyone made 20 cards that we had designed using products from the new Spring Mini and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs. We had display stampers with lots of samples too, so I’ll be sharing all of that fun with you over the next couple of weeks.

On Tuesday I held my Spring Mini Bingo Class. We had so much fun — I love how the ladies concentrate so hard as they are playing.

Of course we did some stamping too. We used new items from the Spring Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. They were concentrating pretty good while stamping too. What a fun group of ladies.

The first card helped get us ready for Valentine’s Day.

The From My Heart Designer Paper is so much fun.
