More Fun at Kids Class

I'm back to share more of the fun from my Kids Stamp Class.
After we warmed up with the Corner Bookmark we moved on to a 3-D project.
I thought they could use this for a Mother's Day gift but they could keep it for themselves too.
Aubri
Aubri is busy working on her project.  She did a great job and she's only 5 years old.
Chalk Board
I found these chalkboards in the Target Dollar Spot a couple years ago and they worked perfect for my project.  We added some pretty white cutout trim and then a fun medallion full of colorful spring flowers and a butterfly.

Project Tips:
* Whisper White — cut out two detail strips using the Flourish Thinlit — love this lacy look
I attached the strips to the chalkboard with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
(I put a puddle of glue on scrap paper and use a piece of sponge to lightly dab glue on the strips)
* Watermelon Wonder — cut out scallop circle using the Layering Circles Framelit
* Whisper White — cut out with Stitched Shapes Framelit
stamp "Happy Day" with Perfectly Wrapped stamp set and Memento ink
stamp butterfly and flower outlines from Garden in Bloom stamp set with Soft Suede ink
stamp inside of butterfly with Daffodil Delight ink
stamp inside of flowers with Watermelon Wonder ink
stamp leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink
* Attach the stamped white circle to Watermelon Wonder scallop circle
* Attach this to chalkboard with Dimensionals
Aubri and Bri
Bri and Aubri really like this project — along with Aubri's daddy, Adam.

Now we get ready to make a card to go with their gift.
Come back tomorrow to see that and their happy faces with all their projects.

Here are the supplies we used:

Kids Stamp Class

One of my favorite stamp classes to hold is my Kids Stamp Classes.
I love their excitement and honesty.  They just have fun creating their own master pieces.
Last night I had a class with four fabulous kids and one kid at heart.
Ellie's Google Eyes
Miss Ellie did a great job stamping with the kids and making them feel important.
LaKendra loved sitting beside Ellie and kept hugging her.
Ellie even asked LaKendra for directions on stamping.
LaKendra helping Ellie
The kids made 3 different projects in the 1 1/2 hour class.
They liked each project but I think their favorite was the bookmark.
Minion Bookmark
They all yelled MINION at the same time.

Here’s Dillon using his bookmark as a cell phone cover.

Cool Treats Happy Birthday

I received this fun card for my birthday earlier this month and I had to share it with you.
It uses the Cool Treats Bundle and the coordinating Tasty Treats designer paper.  What a great suite for those summer time cards.

Cool Treats BirthdayCard Tips:
* Pool Party — 4 1/4" x 11" — score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2"
the card is folded in half and then the bottom is folded up for a fun fold card
Cool Treats Birthday Closeup

* Whisper White — 4" x 5 1/4"
stamp "Happiest Birthday" with Early Espresso
* Tasty Treats designer paper — 2 1/2" x 4"
* Pool Party — 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
* Whisper White — cut out with Stitched Shapes Square
* Whisper White scraps
stamp ice cream cone with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso — cut out with framelit
stamp ice cream with Watermelon Wonder — the full image is stamped off first, the swirl is full strength — cut out with framelit
stamp popsicle stick with Crumb Cake and the popsicle with Peekaboo Peach — the full image is stamped off first and then the stripes are full strength — cut out with framelit
stamp other popsicle stick with Crumb Bake and the popsicle with Pool Party — the full image is stamped off first and then the lines are stamped full strength — cut out with framelit

A pretty quick and easy card and fun cutting out the ice cream treats with the coordinating framelits.
