I LOVE this lady bug friends (bff's) card.
This was another sample card we did at
out Team Meeting Saturday. It features the
Love You Lots Hostess Exclusive Stamp Set
and the new In Color — Flirty Flamingo.
This is one of my new favorite colors.
The base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of
Flirty Flamingo. The In Color designer paper is
attached to Black cardstock.
The lady bugs are stamp with with Archival Black
ink and colored in with an Aqua Painter and the
Flirty Flamingo stamp pad.
Every year there is one Hostess Exclusive stamp set
that is a MUST HAVE!!! This year is no exception.
The special set this year Love You Lots.
The little characters are all so adorable.
Today's card uses the frog in the stamp set
and he pairs quite well with a new In Color,
Emerald Envy.
The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Emerald Envy.
I added a Black mat and added a piece of the
2016-2018 In Color Designer Paper Stack.
The frog is stamp with Archival Black —
you want to use that stamp pad because
you are water coloring with the Aqua Painter.
Use your Aqua Painter with the Emerald Envy
stamp pad and add a little color underneath
the frog for his lily pad.
We also added a bit of the new
In Color Ruched Ribbon — so much fun.

The card base is Night of Navy with a layer
of Whisper White and then a layer of
Daffodil Delight that was embossed with the
Elegant Dots embossing folder.
I used the Softly Falling embossing folder
on the Night of Navy strip across the center.
The banner is new designer paper called
Affectionately Yours. It has lots of
pretty patterns including some fun
copper accents — copper is all the rage
right now.
