One in a Million

I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day!!
Mine was the best in a long time.
We spent Saturday at my daughter's celebrating my grandson's 8th birthday.
My son and family came down and spent the weekend.
We all went to church together Sunday morning and then out to a late
breakfast  — all 10 of us.  I don't think I have all both of my kids together
for Mother's Day since they graduated from college and now they have families
of their own.  It was awesome — the best day ever!!!
Now that Mother's Day is past I was looking through card swaps and
found this one which is great for Father's Day.
Tie CardThe base of the card is Crumb Cake with a layer of Very Vanilla that was
embossed with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder (it retired last year but you
could use any embossing folder) and cut and folded at the top to look like a dress shirt.  A piece of Crumb Cake cardstock was cut and folded to look like a tie.
Epic Day Washi Tape was added to look like stripes.  You're One in a Million is
a perfect saying to add to the card — my dad is definitely One in a Million.

Happy Together Wedding Card

This is a great card for weddings, anniversaries or change the greeting and it's great for Mother;s Day or birthdays.
Image
The card is Smoky Slate with a layer of Smoky Slate that I embossed with the Fnacy Fan Embossing Folder. I stamped the Label Love stamp set with Basic Gray ink that was stamped off and punched out with the Artisan Label Punch. I used the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and used Blushing Bride cardstock. I added a tiny pearl in the center of each flower.

Little Buddy Birthday Dinosaur

It's birthday time!!!
Today is my grandson Bubba's 8th Birthday Party!!!
This is a card we made at class the other night — hmmm.. will this be his card.
DinosaurThe stamp set is Little Buddy Birthday — so adorable.
The base of the card is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Whisper White.
I added a layer of the 2014-2016 Designer Paper Stack — Hello Honey (yes, another retiring item).  I used a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock that is 2" x 3 1/2" and punch one end using the Angled Tag Topper Punch (yup, retiring).  I used a piece of Hello Honey Ribbon (retiring) for the tag.  I stamped the image and words on Whisper White with Stazon ink and colored the dinosaur with Rich Razzleberry and Hello Honey inks and Aqua Painter or Blender Pen.
