I Like Your Face

The Mini Treat Bag is one of my new favorites from the Occasions Catalog — it is so much fun and easy to "whip up" a couple little gift bags.  This little cute was a gift for a hostess at last night's party.  I put a package of the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers inside.
TreatI started with a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock — I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die to cut out the bag pieces — I adhered them with Fast Fuse Adhesive (you want to be sure your bag stays closed).  I cut two strips of Best Year Ever DSP (FREE Sale-a-Bration item) and punched the tops using the Angled Tag Topper Punch.  Then I stamped the adorable bear from Cheerful Critters stamp set using Memento ink.  I colored the bear using Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake Blendabilities.  I punch this piece using the Angled Tag Topper Punch and layered all three tags and adhered to the front of the bag using dimensionals.  I added a bow from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack ribbon and adhered with Glue Dots.  My hostess was very pleased with the treat bag but she was especially happy with the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.

Moon Lake

I have a new stamp set that is perfect for your Masculine cards — it's called Moon Lake.  The images are great — this goose/duck/loon (yup, I'm a real nature girl), a row boat by a tree and a bird on a branch (don't ask me what kind of bird).  The words in the set are nice too.  Check on this card.

FullSizeRender-03The base of the card is Island Indigo with a strip of Adventures Bound DSP Stack — great prints in this paper stack.  I stamped the goose with Stazon and used Aqua Painters and stamp pad to color the image.  I mounted the stamped images on Basic Black cardstock to make them pop a bit and of course used dimensionals to adhere the layers to the card base.  This card is quick to make but is very stunning.

Petal Potpourri Birthday

Don't you just love when you have a punch that coordinates with the stamp set.  Petal Potpourri has just that — a brand new stamp set and coordinating punch — Flower Medallion and better yet it's bundled together at a sale price — WOO HOO!!!!
Petal Potpourri BirthdayThe base of this card is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Sahara Sand which I stamped Happy Birthday with Blackberry Bliss ink.  I used the Something Borrowed designer paper to make the banner pieces.  I added circles and starburst of Blackberry Bliss and Sahara Sand cardstock — don't forget the piece of fabulous lace.  Yes, that's new too — it's in the Occasions Catalog — it's called Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim — love it.  I stamped the lacy flower with Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched out with the coordinating punch.  Don't forget to addd a pearl in the center.  This card can easily be transformed into a wedding card, sympathy card, thank you card — just change the words on the front of the card.
