Love is Kindness

Love is Kindness is such a sweet stamp.  It is a single stamp from the Occasions Catalog.  For this card I left the words on the stamp — I think I am going to cut the words off so I can use the tulip image for birthday cards, thank you cards, thinking of you — then I won't have "the essence of love" on a birthday card.

Love is KindnessThe base of this card is Wild Wasabi with a layer of Calypso Coral.  Then I added a layer of designer paper from the Sweet Dreams DSP.  I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to punch a pretty top for the Whisper White tag and then cut a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock a 1/4" larger and slipped that in to cut the "fancy" top for that layer too.  I stamped the tulip image with Memento ink and colored with Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi Blendability Markers.

Winter Warm Up

Yesterday I held my Winter Warm Up Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Kick Off Party with one of my downline member, Sheila.  We had a great time.  Everyone stamped 10 different cards using stamps and accessories from the new catalogs.

Here's one group of ladies working away on their cards as Sheila helps give directions.

Here's one of the cards they made at the event.I Love YouThis card used the One Tag Fits All stamp set from the Occasions Catalog along with the new Heart Embossing Folder.  This was a very quick and easy card to make.

Butterfly Thank You

The new Butterflies Thinlit Dies are fabulous.  If they aren't on your wish list they should be.  I was afraid of them at first — all those little pieces to sit and poke out.  SO, not true.  Many fellow demonstrators started posting a little tip to using these beauties. Dryer Sheets and Wax Paper are the answer — that's right kitchen and laundry supplies.
Butterfly Thank YouWhen building your Big Shot sandwich you need a couple extra layers — magnetic platform, clear acrylic plate, add a piece of dryer sheet, cardstock, piece of wax paper, butterfly thinlit, second clear acrylic plate.  Run through the Big Shot and VIOLA, your butterfly comes right out.  I had to poke out a few pieces but it was very quick and easy.

Look how great this card looks.  Team member Amanda made this card — isn't it great.
Ilove the pink and gray look.  Order your Butterflies Thinlits Dies now and give it a try!!
