Twitterpated

Twitterpated — isn't that a fun word.  When my kids were little they loved to watch Bambi and Thumper said the animals were twitterpated.  They would giggle everytime he said it.TwitterpatedThis Twitterpated is from a new stamp set called You Plus Me.  You can get a 15% discount when you purchase the bundle which includes the Stacked with Love Designer Paper Stack which I also used on the card.

The card base is Real Red with a layer of Black and another layer of Real Red.  Then I added two strips of the Stacked with Love DSP and a 1/4" strip of Black cardstock.  I attached this to the card front with dimensionals.  Next I added another piece of the Stacked with Love DSP to a layer of Black cardstock and adhered to the first panel.

I cut out a heart from Real Red cardstock using the Hearts Framelits and then stamped Twitterpated with Stazon Ink and attached to the card front with dimensionals.

Eat Cake Sale-a-Bration

Eat Cake and Sale-a-Brate — that's right it's more Sale-a-Bration DSP – don't you just love it.
Eat CakeThe card base is Whisper White with a layer of Coastal Cabana that's been embossed with the Large Polka Dots embossing folder.  I added a strip of the Bet Year Ever DSP and a thin strip of Soft Suede cardstock.  I stamped the Eat Cake image from One Tag Fits All using Stazon Ink.  I colored the images with markers — Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry and then punched it out with the Note Tag Punch.  I adhered the tag with dimensionals to a layer of Calypso Coral and Soft Suede and adhered that to the card front using dimensionals.

Celebrate Your Birthday with Cake

 

I am really loving all the new product from the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.

This is the second card that the ladies did at my Hostess Appreciation Party Wednesday night.

Celebrate with CakeThe card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of Basic Black and then Whisper White.
The stamp set is a FREE Sale-a-Bration set called Big Day. I stamped the cake and candle in the lower left corner using Crushed Curry Ink.  The stripes are a fun new product called Washi Sheets — it's like the Washi Tape but it comes in 6" x 12" sheets.  There are four different colors/prints and you get two of each sheet.  You can use it to cut out balloons with the new Balloon Framelits or any of the other Big Shot items.  Here I cut it into 1/2" strips and applied it like Washi Tape.  The black cardstock is also a new item — Chalkboard Paper.  It is heavy duty and one side feels like a chalkboard.  I used the new Ornate Tag Topper Punch to punch out the tag and stamped the "Celebrate Your Birthday with Cake" using the new Rose Coral Chalk Ink Pad — so cool.  It really does look like you used pink chalk.  The ribbon is a FREE Sale-a-Bration item — Best Year Ever Accessory Pack.
