Seasonal Thanks

This is the second card from the Seasonally Scattered Card Class.  For this card I showed the ladies how to add different colors to the stamp by sponging right on to the stamp.  We used Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry (all of the cards we made were from one color family — Regals).ThanksAfter we inked up the stamp with the sponged colors we stamped on to the Whisper White layer.  I punched three flowers from Cajun Craze cardstock using the Itty Bitty Accent Flower Punch.  We adhered the flowers with Glue Dots and added Rhinestones in the center of each flower.  Last we added the stamped layer to a Whisper White card base using dimensionals.

Don't forget the Seasonally Scattered stamp set goes away at the end of this month.  Have you ordered your set yet — don't delay.

Merry Snow Flurries

I held a private stamp class on Sunday.  I met 7 new stampers and 3 of my regular ladies.  What a great time we had together talking about our Christmas traditions.  I wanted to show the new stampers how versatile a stamp set can be.  Everyone got to make 3 cards and a 3-D item, which held a little Hershey's candy bar.  I used the Seasonally Scattered stamp set to make a Thanks card, a Love card and this Merry card.

Merry
The base of this card is Garden Green cardstock with a layer of Crumb Cake.  The top layer is Cherry Cobbler.  The "Merry" snowflake image was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Then we added banner strips cut from the Trim the Tree Designer Paper Stack.  We added a bow tied from the 1/8" Silver Ribbon and adhered with a Glue Dot.  Last we added an All is Calm Snowflake Charm with a Glue Dot — don't forget to add a Rhinestone in the center of the Snowflake Charm.

Eat Cake

Yesterday I posted pictures from our Team Meeting on Saturday.
We had one Make & Take for everyone to make using the
brand new stamp set that we received at the Occasions Catalog Kick Off Party.  I showed you the baby card I made from the set.
Here is the card Tina designed for everyone to make.

Eat CakeIsn't this cut adorable.  The base of the card is Coastal Cabana with a layer of Chocolate Chip and then a layer of Whisper White that was embossed with the Distressed Dots embossing folder.  We used the Note Tag punch to punch an opening in the Whisper White layer.  We another another piece of Whisper White cardstock that we stamped the "tag" on to with Chocolate Chip ink and then used markers to color — Chocolate Chip, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and So Saffron.  Adhere this stamped piece behind the opening at attach all with dimensionals.  Another quick & simple card.
