Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit


Oh my goodness, I love the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit. It is so much fun as intended — 24 little envelopes to fill with little treats or gifts as you countdown the days until Christmas. With lots of inspiration and a little casing from my sister, Tina Rappe, and others I turned these little envelopes into gorgeous cards.


For most of the card, I cut the small envelopes apart to use as Designer Paper — some have scalloped edges and others I cut the scallop edge off. All of the gorgeous die cuts are from the kit. I did use 1 3/4″ and 2″ Circle Punch and the Stylish Shapes Dies for the circles. Each layer has a different 3D Embossing Folder.


Even the sequins came in the kit. I added Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Beige card stocks for the card bases.

Yuletide Village Framed Art

This week’s FB Live was a fun Yuletide Village Framed Art to help you start decorating for all the upcoming Holidays. I used the Yuletide Village Stamp Set with a greeting from Peaceful Seasons Stamp Set. The frame is an 8″ x 8″ shadow box so the artwork has lots of layers with lots of Dimensionals.


The Garden Meadows Die Set had the perfect archway die for the village background. Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder gave a nice snowfall behind the village. Lots and Lots of Dimensionals gave many layers to this gorgeous scene. The finishing details was adding a few White Loose Snowflakes.


Here’s a closeup of the village scene. I shared the masking technique to add some trees to the buildings, then I also added some extra trees behind the buildings. Wink of Stella is added to all snow areas and to the trees for extra holiday sparkles.

Christmas Everywhere Alternate Cards


I had so much fun making these Christmas Everywhere Alternate Cards. Christmas Everywhere is one of Stampin’ Up!’s awesome card kits. The kit has supplies to make 9 cards — 3 each of 3 different designs — Stamp Set, Stampin’ Spot Ink, Dimensionals and Envelopes are included. I used supplies for one of each card and created 5 fabulous cards.












Aren’t these fun cards? After creating these five cards, you still have supplies to make 6 cards as designed for the kit OR use a little extra cardstock and the measurements in the tutorial to create 10 more cards like these. My tutorial is available to purchase for just $10.
