Making Spirits Bright

Yesterday's post was using the Making Spirits Bright stamp set for a quick Halloween card.  Today's post shows you how cute it is to make a Christmas card.  Don't you like the candy cane stir stick.

Amanda WaldhartThe designer paper is from the Nordic Noel package in the Holiday Catalog.  I'm still getting used to the colors in this package — having a hard time with Calypso Coral and Real Red together or Garden Green and Soft Sky, but it is growing on me.

Bring on the “BOOS”

WOW, that title made you stop, didn't it.  The Making Spirits Bright stamp set from the Holiday Catalog is so much fun.  Those cute little drink glasses cover Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and even Birthdays.

For this card I used a piece of the Motley Monsters designer series paper.  I stamped the image with Stazon ink and colored in with markers.  I stamped the "Happy Halloween" with VersaMark ink and used Crushed Curry embossing powder.

Santa in the House

Wow, can you believe the holidays are right around the corner.

I guess this card is more Santa in the chimney, not the house.  Isn't this the sweetest thing.  This is a swap card that my sister, Tina, made for a demonstrator make & take that we hosted last week.  This card is so adorable — I am going to have to make some of these cards to send out to special people for Christmas.
