This week’s Facebook Live is letting me enjoy some Fall colors. The Painted Patch Happy Birthday card is an easel fun fold. It’s a little different type of easel card though. It features the Painted Patch Designer Paper and the Framed & Fabulous Bundle. All these fun new products begin TODAY!! I’m so excited.
The front of the card is so pretty but wait until you open the card.
The Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder was used for the Crisp Cantaloupe layer inside. It makes a beautiful background. A strip of the pumpkin designer paper on Cajun Craze was added inside for the easel stopper.
The inside strip holds the card front panel open for display.
I added Copper Foil on the Cajun Craze scallop circle adds a touch of elegance.
Measurements:
Cajun Craze — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 1″ & 6 1/2″
2″ x 5 1/2″; 3 1/2″ x 5″; 1″ x 4″
Crisp Cantaloupe — 2 — 4″ x 4 1/4″; 4″ x 5 1/4″; 3/4″ x 4″
Basic White — 3″ x 3″; 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
Painted Patch Designer Paper — pumpkins — 3 7/8″ x 4 1/8″; 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Painted Patch Designer Paper — dark pumpkins — 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

I really love your card, the colors and the fun fold are awesome. It was so great that you wrote out the measurements and I have not compared them to your video but there are a couple of errors with the Cajun Craze pieces.
The 2″ x 6″ cajun craze piece says to score at 2″ and 2 1/2″ but the piece does not need to be scored. I noticed you did not score it in your video. And this same piece should measure 2″ x 5 1/2″ not 2″ x 6″. And the 3 /12 x 5″ piece only needs to be 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 for the project. I thought you might want to make the corrections for others. It really is a wonderful card and I for one am enjoying making it. I am also loving the Hot Foil, it’s so much fun. Thank you so much for sharing.

I corrected the 2″ x 6″ Cajun Craze — you are correct, that should be 2″ x 5 1/2″ and no scoring.
I am leaving the 3 1/2″ x 5″ piece for the Hot Foiling as the Foil is 5″ wide — I use leftover pieces on other projects. I don’t like cutting the Foil down from the 5″ width.
I am loving the Hot Foil System too!!
