I love this time of year for all the Easter candy especially PEEPS — I LOVE them. I know most adults hate them but I just love them. Unfortunately I can't have them this year. The doctor put me on a "healthy eating" plan for health reasons (YUCK) so I can't have sugar but I still want them. I was at Walmart tonight picking up some candy for my grandchildren (I know, bad grandma). I couldn't believe all the flavors the peeps come in — that's just wrong, peeps aren't suppose to taste like anything but sugar. Anyway……I made this basket at the Big Shot class earlier this week.
The basket is cut from Stampin' Up!'s Coaster Board. It is nice and thick & sturdy — I'll be able to put plenty of treats in this basket. I lined the basket with one of the Best Year Ever DSP sheets — so cute, I love those colors. I added a couple of Calypso Coral bows on the sides. I stamped a tag made from the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and stamped the chick from Cheerful Critters — such a cute stamp set. I added the For Peep's Sake to the chick and I'm putting a Peep in the bag with the tag on it. So cute!!! This was a very fun project to make.
