Well, our Stampin' Sisters Retreat is over for another year.
We had such a great time.
One of my favorite things about this event is I get to do it with
my sister, Tina Rappe.
We have the best time together from the beginning to the end.
We started planning the projects the last weekend of January.
Tina does the "fluff" as I call it — she is responsible for all the
pretty stuff. I do the computer work — dividing up our orders,
typing and formatting the directions for each project.
During the event she does most of the explanations, directions, etc.
I'm in charge of sound effects
(whoop, whooping to get everyone's attention).
I also take care of organizing the "come on down" gifts.
We work very well together and that makes the whole event
so much more fun.
I thought I would share a few pictures of us over the past three days.
I think I shared this one Friday night — we went to pick up 15 balloon
bouquets for the table decorations.
My car was filled full and we started laughing like kids — that meant it
was time for a selfie.
We had a game for all the guests to play for prizes — it was dropping
clothespins into a quart jar — they had to get two clothespins in the jar to
win a prize. Tina decorated the clothespins and the jar all pretty.
We got a little slap happy Friday night and pretended the clothespins
were cigars. A little Laurel & Hardy look or as our uncle calls us
Laverne & Shirley.
Here we are in front of all the balloon bouquets on the last day.
Thank you God for such a wonderful sister.
I am very blessed.
