Summer's not over yet — in fact it's very hot here in Illinois right now.
But it is time to start thinking about fall cards.
My inspiration for this card came from my son-in-law Scott.
He sent me a text on Sunday showing me a card that he stamped with my
daughter, Katie Campbell, who is also a demonstrator.
I tweaked his card for my class by adding a little more color and I used
the Vintage Leaves stamp set.
The card base is Blackberry Bliss.
I added a layer of Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla.
I cut an oval opening in a "scrap" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the
Oval Collection Framelits. I sponged Delightful Dijon, Tangelo Twist and
Blackberry Bliss ink inside the open. I mounted four of the Vintage Leaves
on one large block. I remove the Vanilla mask and stamped the leaves
with Early Espresso ink over the oval.
I used one of the new Expressions Natural Elements (thin wooden words).
I sponged Early Espresso ink on the wooden Thanks and adhered it to the
card with glue. Are you ready for fall weather now — I know I am.
