This fabulous note pad holder was another item at my Christmas Buffet Gift Class. Inside this beauty is a 3" x 5" note pad. The receiver of this gift would think of you every time they wrote a note.
The base of this project is Crumb Cake. It's scored into three sections with the note pad adhered to the middle section, the right side folds over and then the left side folds on top of that. I added a layer of Soft Suede cardstock and then Melon Mambo dotted designer paper on top of that. I add a tab with a piece of velcro to hold everything closed. On top of the tab is a scalloped circle and then a Melon Mambo 1 3/8" circle. I stamped Life is Good from the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Remember This stamp set and punched that out with the 11/4" circle punch. I added a Soft Suede and Melon Mambo banner to the top left and a butterfly from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.
You could whip out a bunch of these and give out as Christmas gifts at the bank, post office, grocery store — anywhere you while you are out and about. What a great treat for an unexpected receiver.
