I don't know about you but I know I give quite a few gift cards for Christmas gifts. I still want the recipient to feel like they are receiving a gift to open. This cute holder serves that purpose great. The present the snowman is holding open up so ou can tuck the gift card inside.
I stamped snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with White Emossing Powder. The snowman is made from many different punches and the Circle Collection Framelits The gift is adhered to the front of the snowman. This was fun to make — i think I'll be making a few more yet over the next couple of days.
that is a cute gift card holder .. do you have the pattern for it if so could I please have it .. thank you phyllis
hi Peggy how did you do the envelope .. I think I can figure the rest .. just was curious what you used to make the envelope.
Hi Phyllis,
I just cut cardstock and scored. I’m totally guessing on size — 2 1/2″ x 8″ — score at 3″ & 6″. Glue sides close to edge to allow enough room for the gift card to slide in. I believe I used a Velcro dot to hold it shut. I hope this helps.
Phyllis — thank you so much. I don’t believe I still have the dimensions for this adorable gift card holder. It was fun to make but I no longer have the sample to measure for you — sorry.
