Gifts from the Garden

At our Demo event Friday night we do a card swap.
Fourteen people participated in the swap using brand new stamp sets.
This is one of my favorite things to do — I love to see what stamp sets
everyone uses and the wonderful ideas to create their cards.
Peggy SwapThis was the card that I designed for the swap.
I like to use different folds on my cards.
This card is the "Z" fold.
You start with a piece of cardstock that is 4 1/2" x 11".
Score it at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4" — fold the card in half and then fold the
short section back.
I used Bohemian Borders stamp set for the trim on the Whisper White card inside.
The designer paper on the front is English Garden.
The stamp set is Gifts from the Garden.
I inked up the flowers using Old Olive and Melon Mambo markers and
stamped the images on Whisper White cardstock.
I cut the image out using the Lots of Labels Framelits.
Cut out a larger label from Melon Mambo cardstock.
I inked up the flower pots using the Basic Grey and Old Olive marker and stamped again on Whisper White cardstock — cut them out with Paper Snips.
Adhere just below the flowers with dimensionals.
I inked up the words with the Old Olive and Melon Mambo markers and stamped
just below the flower pots.
Tie a tiny bow from White Baker's Twine and adhere with a Glue Dot.
I attached the labels to the card using dimensionals only on the left side of the label.
