Wishing You Lots of Joy

I just returned from the 2015 Stampin' Up! Convention.
What a fabulous few days away with over 2,500 demonstrators!!!
I showed you the Shoebox Swap card that I made for one of the swaps I participated
in.  I joined one other swap for a Facebook Group — Stampin' Leaders.
Seventy nine other women joined in designing, making and swapping.
We each went home with 80 different cards.
These swaps were fabulous.  I can't wait to share some of them with you and
I hope to use some of these designs in upcoming classes.
Here is the card that I made for these wonderful ladies.
Lots of Joy CardIt is an easel card and I used a Christmas stamp set and Christmas colors.

The base of the card is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" — score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".
Cut off a section of the front at 2" (2" x 4 1/4").
Fold the 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" section on the score line.
I added a strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock to the right side of the card — 1 3/4" x 4".
Then I added a strip of the Merry Moments designer paper — 1 1/2" x 3 3/4".
Cut a piece of Heavy Whisper White cardstock — 3 1/4" x 4"
Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock — 3 1/8" x 3 7/8" — run this through your
Big Shot using the Elegant Dots embossing folder.
Adhere these two layers to the bottom section of the left side of the card front.
I punched a 2 1/2" circle of Whisper White cardstock and adhered to a larger
Cherry Cobbler circle that was cut out using the Circle Framelits — adhere both
circles to the Mossy Meadow section with dimensionals.
Stamp two trees from the Lots of Joy stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink.
Punch out and adhere with dimensionals.  Punch stars from Silver Glimmer cardstock and adhere to top of trees with Glue Dots.
Lots of Joy Card Inside

For the inside of the card I cut a 3 1/4" x 4" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.
Next layer is Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 3" x 3 3/4" — adhere inside the card.

Have fun making your own easel cards — they are much easier that they look.
