Yesterday was great and sad all at the same time.
It was the last full day of Founders Circle.
I packed up and had to be ready to go to the airport at 5:00 a.m.
Many demonstrators have later flights so they will still have a bit of time this morning.
I must say these past four days have been absolutely amazing.
The other demonstrators were so warm and welcoming.
Stampin' Up!'s staff did a fabulous job.
The hotel and hotel staff were great.
I got to sleep in a bit. I chit chatted with some other demonstrators until
about 11:00 a.m. and then went shopping to some quilt stores.
Our first trip out was with Glenda Travelstad, Patty Bennett and my sister Tina Rappe.
Friday night I watched Angie Juda sewing a jelly roll quilt. It looked like so much fun that I just had to get the fabric too. So I bought a jelly roll of fabric and then the quilt store had a sample pillowcase that was fabulous. I found flannel winter fabric that I just had to have for my grandchildren. I'm going on a Girls Getaway Weekend next weekend so I'll be doing plenty of sewing.
Next we headed to Ace Hardware — that's right, Ace Hardware in St. George, UT has fabric. I found a couple more cute things there. Then after we returned to the hotel, Angie Juda was going to another quilt store so I rode with and found a couple of sale Jelly Rolls so I have plenty to keep me busy.
Then we headed on buses to our final dinner location. Check out the wonderful decorations — dinner was fabulous.
After dinner we went to an In the Round Theater for a production of West Side Story.
Here is the cast at the end of the performance.
When I returned to my room there was one final gift.
This beautiful Pandora bracelet and charm. I guess this has been a tradition for a couple of years. Since this was my first time at Founders Circle I received both the bracelet and the charm. Those that have attended in the past received just the charm this time.
So I will be home shortly and getting ready for this week's classes.
I just have to say one last time — THANK YOU for helping me earn this wonderful trip.
It has been very special to me.
