I’m not much of a baseball fan but my
former boss and his entire family love
the Chicago White Sox.
I saw Rachel Tessman’s baseball card
on Pinterest and knew I had to make one
but I changed it up a bit to make a White Sox
card for Tom and his family.
The card features the Circle Card Thinlit
which is retiring and it’s on SALE!!!
Now is the time to order it before it’s gone forever.
The card base is Smoky Slate — 5 1/2″ x 6″.
I used the Circle Card Thinlit to cut the card base.
It cuts the circle edges and scores the card all at once.
I used Timeless Textures with Smoky Slate ink to
stamp the top half of the card — I used the
mesh stamp first and then the wood look swoosh.
I layered the Black cardstock on the Whisper White
and attached to the bottom of the card.
The Circle Card Thinlit has lots of fun pieces to
cut out shapes. I used the star framlit to cut out
the Smoky Slate star and stamped the star
from Pictogram Punches stamp set (retiring)
with Memento ink.
I cut out “YAY” from Whisper White cardstock
and stamped the mesh stamp with Smoky Slate ink.
On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped
five stars and punched out with the star punch
from Itty Bitty Punch Pack (retiring) and
attached them with Glue Dots.
For the baseball I punched a 2 1/2″ circle of Whisper White
(the 2 1/2″ circle punch is retiring too).
With a second “scrap” circle and Black Marker I
traced the curved line on my baseball.
In the Thinlit set is a chevron die — I used Real Red
cardstock and cut out six of the chevrons.
I attached the chevrons along the black line and
then added the dots between each chevron for stitch marks.
Now check out the card when opened up.

On another 2 1/2″ Whisper White circle I stamped
You’re a Star with Memento ink and added a couple
more stars stamped with Memento ink.
As you can see this card used lots of retiring product.
