Joyful Nativity

I know that it is July and our temps have been close to
or in the 90’s but I had to do it.
This month’s Fast & Fabulous Cards Class
was Christmas in July.
When the new catalog came out last month
I fell in love with the Joyful Nativity stamp set.
I knew I HAD to have it.
This was the first card I designed for the class.

Check out this new Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate.
There are three different designs in the package
and two sheets of each design.
One side is Silver and the other side is Gold.
So cool!!!
Joyful Nativity1. Night of Navy card base — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.
2. Next a 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Whisper White.
3. The Foil Designer Acetate is also 4″ x 5 1/4″.
I attached this layer with Glue Dots under the banner and circles.
4. Layering Circles to cut out Whisper White circle and
Night of Navy Scallop circle.
5. Whisper White banner — 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
Stamp greeting with Night of Navy ink, cut banner ends with Paper Snips.
6. Attach to 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ Night of Navy strip and trim ends.
7.  Stamp Holy Family with VersaMark ink at bottom of Whisper White circle
8.  Sprinkle Silver Embossing Powder and heat with Heat Gun
9.  Stamp Stable with VersaMark over Holy Family and emboss with Silver Embossing Powder.
10. Attach both to acetate with dimensionals
11. Attach acetate to Whisper White layer with adhesive behind the circle and banner.

This was a great way to start some Christmas cards.
