What kind of Christmas cards do you make — fun & silly or serious, religious?
I like to make some of each. The Star of Light stamp set in this year’s Holiday Catalog fit my serious/religious cards this year. It is a beautiful, elegant stamp set — the greetings say it all!!!
Here is another swap card I received at our last demo make & take (I apologize — there was no name on the card to give credit to). I love the Night of Navy and Whisper White. The White Embossing Powder makes it pop.
The creator used Gold Foil Sheet for the large background star with a Whisper White cut out star (both were cut using the coordinating Starlight Thinlits). I think this would also be pretty with a Silver Foil star in the background. I love the addition of the three tiny pearls in the lower left corner. It adds to the spattering of stars.
The inside says is “Became the Light of the World”. I think this phrase is wonderful and reminds us all of what Christmas is all about.
