Dragonfly Coasters

Earlier in the week I held a kids Santa's Workshop Class.
The kids got to come and make 3 projects they could give
as a Christmas gift.

Their first project was a set of cork coasters.
Coasters

We used the new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.
This set is in the Occasions catalog that begins January 4th,
so you'll have to wait a bit but it is an adorable stamp set.
The kids stamped the dragonfly on the cork coaster with
Stazon ink — it's the only ink that won't run when it gets wet.

Once they stamped four coasters, they tied them up
with Watermelon Wonder striped ribbon.
Viola — they were done and ready for the next project.

Twelve Days of Christmas
Day #10 Winner — Wendy — no cookies for Santa at her house anymore
but she used to help her kids prepare for Santa

Only two questions left!!!
Day #11 — there are a couple parts to it today.
Do you wrap Santa presents?
If yes, do you use special paper & tags.
If no, how do you put out the Santa presents?

  1. Generally we did not have “Santa” gifts. We told our kids from the start that Santa was a pretend character and it is a fun thing at Christmas just like the Easter Bunny etc….possibly because I was devastated to discover Santa was not real. We did however say that all the stocking gifts were from Santa.

  2. Santa comes to our house. I have special paper (a huge roll I bought 2-3 years ago… should last another 4-5 years) and santa themed tags that don’t go on anything else. Neither can be found in our regular collection of gift wrapping items. Everyone gets one special gift from Santa and a Stocking full of little gifts and treats.
