I love 3-D items, especially treat holders during this time of year. I saw this adorable Treat Tube Holder by Erica Cerwin and knew that I HAD to make one for Christmas. I used the Year of Cheer designer paper, which is gorgeous with gold and silver snowflakes. I added some Gold & Silver Foil Sheet circles, a little Gold bow and some fun Year of Cheer Washi Tape to help keep the cork in the Treat Tube. The greeting is from Merry Cafe stamp set.
These cuties are very quick to make and you can make 12 from one sheet of designer paper.
Measurements:
Year of Cheer Designer Paper – 2″ x 6″ — score 1″, 1 1/2″, 4″ & 4 1/2″ — punch 3/4″ circles as shown
Whisper White – 2″ x 4 3/4″
Attach the ends of the designer paper to the ends of the Whisper White strip — this will bow the center for the Treat Tube to go into.
Gold Foil Sheet – 3″ x 3″ — cut out scallop circle with Layering Circles Framelits
Silver Foil Sheet – 3″ x 3″ — cut out circle with Layering Circles Framelits
Whisper White – cut out circle with Stitched Shapes Framelits — stamp greeting with Real Red
Treat Tube – fill with candy — I used Sixlets (found bags of all one color at Walmart)
Year of Cheer Washi Tape – wrap washi tape around tube and cork
1/8″ Gold Ribbon – 10″ — tie bow around tube and slip into holder
