Woot Woot — great news, the first Saturday in October is World Card Making Day. No, this isn’t just a Stampin’ Up! thing, it’s a day set aside worldwide to remind us to make and send out cards. In this fast paced society we tend to do quick texts, how about show someone that they mean a little more to you. Take a few minutes to make a card and tell them you care, get together with friends and make a bunch of cards for a senior center or children’s hospital. Think of all the good we could share around the world.
Stampin’ Up! is celebrating World Card Making Day not just Saturday, October 6th but we are celebrating all week long — yup October 1st – October 7th we have a World Card Making Sale going on. A few select products are 10% off — who doesn’t like a sale. See the flyer with all the sale items that you don’t want to miss out on — dimensionals are on this list along with note cards and envelopes and 12″ x 12″ Whisper White and Very Vanilla cardstock. Yes, there are some adorable stamp sets and kits on sale too. Take a look and get your order placed right away. Please use Host Code RMU73GBV when placing your online order.
I have the perfect card to share with you on this first day of October (a little World Card Making Week inspiration). The weather is cooling down, the leaves are starting to change color. I love the Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry color combo. This card has lots of wonderful layers and the Artisan Texture stamp set was perfect for the blotches of fall color.
