I had a few days away from my office and stamping.
We spent the weekend watching our oldest two grandsons and doing a little Christmas preparations. We spent part of Saturday working on a Christmas project and then took them to do a little Christmas shopping. I was reminded of when our kids were small and we took them shopping to see the things they liked. What a great way to get ideas for them. The boys are 10 and 11, so I asked them what was “in” with kids now. I told them that I needed to buy a gift for a family at our school — what would they recommend and why. It was so much fun to follow them around the store and see what they liked. We came home and watched a couple of Christmas shows, Sunday we made some sugar scrubs, fudge and puppy chow. It was a great weekend together.
My daughter, Katie, and son-in-law came and the guys hung out watching football while Katie and I went to a cookie decorating class. Such a fun time together and our cookies didn’t turn out too bad for the first time.

Now I’m on to finishing up some other Christmas presents. I hope to make some more cookies so I can practice some.
I have some more projects from my Santa’s Workshop to share with you yet.

I loved this project — it was cased from one I saw on Pinterest. Santa’s Suit is double sided so it holds 4 Hershey’s Nuggets. The Black Foil Sheet from the Holiday Catalog worked perfect for Santa’s Belt. For the fur trim and Santa’s beard I used the White Velvet paper that was available last month in the Snowflake Showcase. Such a fun project.
