Are you always looking for card ideas for the guys in your life.
Masculine cards are harder to design that kids and cards for women.
Today I have the perfect combination of products for you.
I paired the Country Club Designer Paper with the Outdoor Barbecue Stamp Set
and created this great masculine birthday card.
This card was part of a team online event we did — we called it “Does Yours Look Like Mine”!!
One person told everyone to have supplies ready:
2″ x 4″ Designer Paper — any paper you want
5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ cardstock to coordinate with DSP
4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White or Very Vanilla
6″ Ribbon to coordinate
2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ cardstock (same color as card base)
3″ x 3″ of 2nd color cardstock
3″ x 3″ Whisper White or Very Vanilla
Stamp Pad to coordinate with DSP
Image or Greeting stamp (approx 2 1/4″ or smaller)
2 leaves (punched, die cut or fussy cut)
2-3 Rhinestones or other small embellishment
Adhesive and Dimensionals
Then the main person gave directions throughout the card:
attach DSP to 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White/Very Vanilla, etc.
It was fun to see how everyone’s cards turned out.
There were some that had the same layout and others that were completely different.
All of the stamp set and color combinations were wonderful.
I can’t wait to try it again — maybe I’ll try it with customers next time.
