I needed a quick birthday card and the Sketched Butterfly Bundle worked great — just a little stamping, coloring and die cutting and BOOM – you’re card is finished.
measurements:
Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Granny Apple Green — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″; 3/8″ x 2 3/4″
Basic White — 3 3/4″ x 5″; 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
Basic Black — 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
instructions:
- Fold Thick Basic White on score line
- Stamp greeting and group of 4 butterflies with Memento on 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White
- Put a drop of Memento ink refill on a clear block — use a Water Painter to add some water to the ink refill and tap Water Painter over stamped Basic White creating splatters
- Use Blending Brush with Granny Apple Green stamp pad to light add color to left quarter of stamped Basic White
- Adhere to Granny Apple Green, then to card base
- Stamp butterfly with Memento on 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ Basic White
- Color with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and Die Cut
- Angle cut one end of 3/8″ Granny Apple Green and 1/4″ Basic Black strips
- Adhere to card front
- Attach butterfly with Dimensionals
- Color 3 small Iridescent Faceted Gems with Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend
- Add gems to card front
