Easter is just over a week away which means it’s time to get those cards in the mail. I have a fun Floating Easter Egg Blessings card to share with you that is so fun to make.

Isn’t it fun? I love the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder background. It reminds me of Easter dresses when I was growing up. Here’s a closeup of the floating egg.

I used the oval die from the Linked Together Die Set to cut a piece of Window Sheet for my egg. Next I cut Timeless Plain Designer Paper into 3/8″ x 6″ strips. I used 3 different prints — well, actually, I used 2 prints but when I cut the strips, I cut some in the darker area of the plaid paper and others that were more Crumb Cake looking. This way I had 3 different looks/color schemes. Then I adhered the strips to the window sheet oval leaving a small space between each row. The Easter Blessings stamp is from Storybook Life Stamp Set. This is such an awesome stamp set. I’m going to make up a few more of this card so I can get them in the mail in time for next Sunday, Easter.
Here are the SUPPLIES I used for today’s project.
