Are you ready for Spring Fling 2026 – Project 2? This project featured the Butterfly Garden Card Kit. I cut card bases from the kit apart and used the pretty card front to make 3 cards similar to the kit designed card. I added Misty Moonlight, Pretty in Pink and Daffodil Delight for card bases. Then I designed 3 alternate cards using the plain portion of the kit card bases and another set of the butterflies. Lastly, they made a box to put the cards and envelopes in making this a perfect gift.
Here are the first 3 cards as designed in the kit.
Don’t forget to decorate the envelopes too.

I added a layer of Basic White under each pre-printed card base to help it “pop” a little.
Now on to the 3 alternate cards that I designed.
I used the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder on the light blue kit card base which turned out beautiful. An arm was added across the card front center with a butterfly hiding on the back side of the circle.
The next card front was also embossed with Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder.
I love the circles scattered on the card front.
The final card is a little unique. I attached a strip to the side strips of the card front. This lifts with the circles when the card is opened leaving the center panel.
But, the center panel raises too.
This gives you a spot to write you message.
Then I used Misty Moonlight for the card box. I embossed Basic White with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added more butterflies.
