Have you started playing with new products yet? I had fun making this Artisan Sketched Garden Birthday card using many new products. The card started with the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Paper. I wanted the vase of flowers to be the highlight of the card. The new Glimmer Brushes were used to color the vase of flowers — Hydrangea Hue for the vase, Crisp Cantaloupe for the flowers and Peaceful Pine for the leaves. These Glimmer Brushes are so much fun!! It’s kind of like Wink of Stella with color — so amazing!

I added the flower vase to Basic White and stamped the greeting from Sending Salutations Stamp Set. This piece seemed a little empty, so I used the Black .04 Journaling Pen with a ruler to add a thin black line around the edges. That helped the flowers “pop” a bit. The Hydrangea Hue dotted designer paper is also new — 2026-2028 Painted Patterns. The card was assembled, but the Crisp Cantaloupe layer was also a bit plain, so I added white dots with the new White Gel Pen. I love how it turned out. You have to get these Gel Pens! Everyone has said they are the best on the market and right now I have to say I agree. They work so well. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it.
