The new catalog has begun and it seems to be a huge hit!! One of the wonderful suites coordinates with the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin. Lakeside & Waterside Retreat Masculine Cards are perfect for Father’s Day or birthdays for all the men in our lives. These are the cards I created for my April Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards. I cut apart the card bases from the Kit, added cardstock to create 6 cards from 3 card bases.
This first card is half of one original card base added to a Misty Moonlight card base for a simple but adorable card.
I love this second card. It feels so calm and peaceful with a woodgrain print in the center. I just want to walk to the end of that pier and sit for a while.
This double z-fold shares many pieces from the kit. The boat and plaid pieces are cut from one of the card bases from the kit to create a completely different look.
Card #4 is an easel fold so it is perfect to stand on display.
I love this fifth card. It makes me think of vacations in a cabin on a lake where we took our kids fishing. So many fun memories.
When you open the card, it looks like a shadow box with a cabin in the forest.
The final card has a slide lock keeping the card closed. It looks like a regular card but the beach scene piece slides off the card front to reveal the message inside.
