Winterly Tree Tops Thank You


I recently found this Winterly Tree Tops Thank You card is my “stash” of cards and realized I never shared it. It features the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set and the Nests of Winter Designer Paper which is such beautiful paper. It is such a beautiful card to send as a Thank You so someone special.

The Winterly Tree Tops stamp set has a stamp with these beautiful birds stamp, but these cuties were die cut from the coordinating Nests of Winter Designer Paper. I didn’t have to color, that made the card quick and easy. The Basic Beige background is embossed with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder.

Lost Lagoon — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Pecan Pie — 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″; 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Basic Beige — 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″; 2″ x 3″‘ 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″

Frosty’s Noel Top Hat

Today’s card features Frosty’s Noel Top Hat from Festive Words Stamp Set. When I see this image, I can see and hear Frosty the Snowman come to life in the childhood cartoon – oh the memories.

Festive Words Stamp Set, Take a Bow Designer Paper, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler & White Adhesive-Backed Berries, Christmas, Stamp with Peggy


It’s such a sweet and simple card that brings a lot of joy to the recipient.

Measurements:
Real Red — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″
Granny Apple Green — 2 pieces — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 2 3/8″ x 2 3/4″
Basic Black — 2 5/8″ x 3″
Basic White — 2 pieces — 3 3/4″ x 5″; 2 1/4″ x 2 5/8″
Take a Bow Designer Paper — green diagonal stripe — 1 3/4″ x 5″
Take a Bow Designer Paper — red dots — 1″ x 4 1/2″

Instructions:
1. Fold Real Red card base on score line
2. Emboss one of 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White with Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder
3. Adhere to Granny Apple Green, then adhere to card front
4. Adhere green diagonal stripe DSP to card front
5. Banner cut ends of red dot DSP, then adhere to card front over stripe DSP
6. Stamp hat on 2 1/4″ x 2 5/8″ Basic White with Memento ink
7. Color with Real Red and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends
8. Adhere hat to Granny Apple Green, then to Basic Black
9. Attach to card front with Dimensionals
10. Add Cherry Cobbler & White Adhesive-Backed Berries to holly leaves

Christmas / Hand Made Cards

6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder

This week’s Facebook Live is a 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder making 3 cards from one 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Paper. I want to thank my demo friend, Mary Knabe for the inspiration of this One Sheet Wonder template. For my samples, I used the Season of Green & Gold Designer Paper with Gold Foil mats and dies with the Joyful Sayings Ephemera Pack for my greetings. These cards are quick and easy to make but so elegant and “fancy”.

Here’s the template with the measurements for cutting the 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper – only 4 simple cuts give you 5 pieces of Designer Paper ready to make 3 fabulous cards.
