Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Alternates

I haven’t shared Paper Pumpkin Kits with you for a long time and September’s Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Alternates Class in the Mail was so much fun. Fall colors are my favorite — rusts, yellows, greens and brown — tree leaves are gorgeous. Each month I design alternate cards, treat holder or home decor using supplies from the kit and adding cardstock and other fun things. Each month is different so my customers never know what I’ll be making. I think it’s a very fun mystery kit. My customers had lots of supplies left from their Paper Pumpkin Kit to make the cards as Stampin’ Up! designed. Here are the projects I made for September’s Kit —

Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Kit, September, Shaker Card, Treat Holder, Matchbook Treat Holder, Loaded Envelope, Fall, Stamp with Peggy

The designer paper on the first card is cut from one of the envelopes in the kit. Greetings of the Season Dies (these are a must have die set) were used for the tag on the front.

The second card was a card base from the kit that had wood logs printed on it. Hmmm, what to do with that? I cased this card from one I saw online. The wood logs made a great card and would be great for the guys in your life.

The third card looks a little plain on the front — it’s pretty but not spectacular but WAIT until you open the card!!

Here’s the view from the top — I love it.

A faux step card is always fun to make.

When is the last time you made a shaker card? They are so much fun and give the recipient an extra surprise to their card.

Not for the treat holder. I found this mini wafel cookies and it was perfect for this upside down matchbook.

There’s a little pocket inside to hold the treat.

Loaded Envelope/Bag

The last item is a Loaded Envelope/Bag. Using a brown bag, I folded and secured a pocket on the front and the inside of the bag has lots of room for little gifts and treat. My front pocket has a Ghirardelli chocolate because who doesn’t love chocolate. The top left corner is a magnetic bookmark — it decorates the bag but is very useful too. I LOVE making loaded envelopes they are so much fun.

This Paper Pumpkin Kit sold out right away but I do have a tutorial available if you got one and haven’t done anything with it yet. Just let me know if you are interested. The cost of the tutorial is $10.

November Paper Pumpkin — Filled with Joy

It’s not too late to sign up for November’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.
We’re getting ready for Christmas with this kit. The Filled with Joy kit has fun little cloth stockings and supplies for tags. Oh the possibilities I can design with will be fun. The deadline to join me for November’s Alternate Kit in the Mail is this Saturday, November 9th. Kits will arrive to me approximately November 25th and I’ll get your kit back out in the mail the first week of December.
