Petal Park Card Gift Set

In this week’s Facebook Live I’m sharing an adorable Petal Park Card Gift Set featuring Petal Park Stamp Set and Simply Said Stamp Set.  The Petal Park Stamp Set is on the Last Chance List and is almost 50% off — what a great deal, Simply Said is coming out in the NEW Annual Catalog which begins next week, May 1st.  These are a great combination for All Occasion Cards.

The color combo started with the Glorious Gingham Designer Paper — Pretty Peacock, then I decided to try Petunia Pop, which is a new In Color.  I love this color combination and I think I’ll be using it a lot.

The card portfolio is very quick to make and matches the 4 cards inside.

Inside I added 2 cards with envelopes to each side of the portfolio.

Each card base is the same — Thick Basic White — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — scored at 4 1/4″, then a layer of Pretty Peacock that is 4″ x 5 1/4″.  The next layer is Basic White that is 3 3/4″ x 5″.  Then each card is a little different, but all have a strip of Designer Paper and the leaves and flowers with a different greeting on each card.

Meandering Meadows Happy Birthday

Today’s card is a gorgeous Meandering Meadows Happy Birthday Card.  I’m making birthday cards like crazy this month — it’s a very busy birthday month on my family.  The Meandering Meadows Designer Paper made it super simple to get some cards made quickly.  This card has a Z Fold to make it a little extra special but it is still simple to make.  The Happy Birthday greeting is stamped right on the designer paper

The Meandering Meadows Designer Paper is 6″ x 6″ so when I cut it for the card front, I had a strip left that I added inside the card for a little extra fun.  Then I stamped Happy Birthday with Memento ink — can’t get much easier that this.

Birthday / Hand Made Cards

Almost Graduation Time

It’s hard to believe that the school year is coming to an end and it’s almost graduation time!  We are just 5 short weeks away from watching our seniors walk our halls for the last time so it’s time to start making some cards to celebrate and congratulate them.  The Cap & Gown Stamp Set from the Spring Mini Catalog is perfect — it is sweet and simple for mass producing but shows your graduate that you care.  I LOVE the playfulness of the designer paper strips behind the cap and gown reminding us that life is fun!!

Let’s hope all students enjoy these last few weeks of their school year as they get excited for summer.
