More Fun with Unbounded Beauty Memories & More Card Pack

Today I have more fun with Unbounded Beauty Memories & More Card Pack.  Both of these fun fold cards were made using the Unbounded Beauty Memories & More Card Pack and two of the new In Colors – Summer Splash and Petunia Pop which are so pretty together.

The first card looks like any regular card front – very pretty.  But wait!!  It pulls open to show the Z-Fold.  I love the little Petunia Pop flowers that were die cut using the Flowers of Beauty Dies.

The Z-Fold is a 3 1/8″ x 11″ piece of Basic White that is scored at 4″ & 8″.  I adhered the Unbounded Beauty card to a 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White and adhered that to the Z-Fold 3″ panel.  Then another card is trimmed to 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ and adhere inside.  It is such a beautiful card with the color coordination pulled from the Memories & More Card Pack.

The second card has three folds for even more fun.  Above is the card all folded up.

Here is the top layer opened exposing the greeting and little flowers stamped on a Memories & More card.

Remember though, I said three folds.  The last opening gives some white space for writing a message.  A strip that was cut off the bottom of one card was added to continue the Summer Splash flowers.

Here is the card opened all the way, there are lots of pretty flowers and texture was added with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.

July’s Card Sketch Challenge Template

It’s time for a new challenge — here is July’s Card Sketch Challenge Template.  My card is a Red, White & Blue them that is perfect for July birthday cards or to share for a 4th of July card.

As you can see on the template, the top, left corner is open space to put a stamped image or die cut.  I decided to use the Round We Go Die to make a rosette for that space.

The rosette die makes a pretty large rosette — this white rosette is full size — 3″ across.

I wanted a smaller rosette for my card, so I cut two pieces of the designer paper with the Round We Go Die, then I trimmed the width of the rosette strips to about 1 1/8″.  This gave me a rosette that is approximately 2 1/4″ across which fits well in the open space on the card.

I mounted the rosette on Azure Afternoon that was die cut with Stylish Shapes Die.  Each of the small squares are cut with the smallest Stylish Shapes square die.

The greeting was stamped on a Stylish Shape banner die that I trimmed off.

The second card rosette strips are trimmed to 1 1/4″ creating a 2 1/2″ rosette which filled the Azure Afternoon square a little more.
