This past weekend we held our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat 2024 and what a FABULOUS time we had. This is a yearly event that my sister, Tina Rappe and I hold the first full weekend of March at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockford, Illinois. There were 78 wonderful ladies attending this year which was our 18th year. The doors to the event room are kept locked until 7:00 p.m. Friday night, then the doors are opened to all the wonderful decorations to share our fun theme.

The doors are opened and they are greeted with this fun 60’s & 70’s Groovy Theme!!
Tina and I stopped for a quick picture in front of the display to show our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat T-Shirts. I love our shirts, don’t you. They are so bright and colorful.

Everyone headed to find their table for the weekend and get set up to stamp. They were greeted at the table with our Groovy Project Bag.
This bag is filled with all 7 class projects for the weekend plus their T-Shirt. There are lots more goodies to come yet, so keep coming back.
Each table had a flower power trash bag in the center to keep the messes to a minimum over the next 2 days.

Every year, Tina and I laugh at how full our cars can be. Here a view of my Explorer, right behind my driver’s seat.
And here is the back of my vehicle — a few small spaces available but overall pretty full.
Tina has a car — a sedan size — here is her front passenger seat. She didn’t take a good picture of the back seat or trunk, but I swear she has a clown car.
