Winter Snowflake Scrapbook Page

Time for a fun Winter Snowflake Scrapbook Page for January.  I used retired Beary Christmas Designer Paper and punched 1″, 1 1/2″ and 1 3/4″ circle to adhere to a piece of 12″ x 12″ Basic White cardstock.  Picture mats were added inside the circle – they are all set to add some of your fun winter pictures.  The final touch added are the 2023-2025 In Color Dots.  Such a simple page but it is perfect for winter — lots of snowflakes.

This fun Winter Snowflake Scrapbook Page was one we made for this month’s Scrapbook Club which started in February.  Each month we make a two-page 12″ x 12″ spread except February.  In February, we make 3 pages — 1 page for the start of the album (January — winter) and then 2 pages for February (fun pages perfect for Valentine pictures).  I will share those pages on Monday.

 

Here are the measurements for the Picture Mats:
Top Left — Night of Navy – 4″ x 4″ — Basic White – 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4′
Top Right — Night of Navy – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ — Basic White – 3″ x 3″
Bottom Left — Night of Navy – 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ — Basic White – 2″ x 3″
Bottom Right — Night of Navy – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ — Basic White – 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

Painted Lavender with Perennial Postage Greeting

I love this card using the stamp set Painted Lavender with Perennial Postage Greeting.  I pulled the colors from the Perennial Lavender Designer Paper —  Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

Are you ready for Spring?  This card definitely makes me think of Spring – I am ready for all the pretty flowers.

 

 

The finishing touch was the addition of the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems and a Linen Thread bow.  A very simple but elegant card perfect for any occasion.

Fun with Sale-a-Bration Products

In last night’s Facebook Live we had Fun with Sale-a-Bration Products!!!  We used 11 different Sale-a-Bration items to make 3 cards and a scrapbook page/framed art piece.

My first card was a case from a card my sister, Tina Rappe, designed for an event.  The layout and greeting was perfect for my Sale-a-Bration products FB Live.  I changed the designer paper and ribbon – I used the Softly Stippled Designer Paper and the Pool Party 5/8″ Crinkle Ribbon and I changed the color scheme to Pool Party and Smoky Slate.  The greeting is from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set and the Basic White background is embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Bundle Embossing Folder. I love the soft subtle look of this Easter card.

My second card featured the Detailed Dogwood Stamp Set with the Flight & Airy Designer Paper.  I love the dogwood branch stamped on the Tailor Made Tags die.  The Happy Birthday greeting is from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set.

Who needs a baby card?  The Cradled in Love Stamp Set is fabulous.  I love how this card turned out using the Sunny Days and Softly Stippled Designer Papers.  This card works well for baby boys or girls.  Don’t you love the little stuffed elephant on the floor.

Lastly, I shared this fun scrapbook page that could definitely be put into a 12″ x 12″ shadow box frame.  I got my inspiration from a project by Michele Miller, but I made changes to make it perfect to add pictures of my great niece’s first trip to the zoo.  She can be with all the animals she saw.  This project used the Jungle Pals stamp set and dies.  Isn’t it the cutest!!
