You’re Awesome Paint Brushes

When we see the Trusty Tools bundle, we think masculine cards so I wanted to share my You’re Awesome Paint Brushes card which is a pink girly card for those ladies who are crafters or DIYers.

 

Trusty Tools Bundle, Trusty Tools Stamp Set, Trusty Tools Dies, Scalloped Contours Dies, Basics Stampin' Emboss Powders, Heat Tool, Embossing Additionals Tool Kit, All Occasions, Stamp with Peggy

 

For this card, we die cut 3 paintbrushes from Gray Granite cardstock, 2 Berry Burst brush bristles, 1 Bubble Bath brush bristles.  Adhere the paint  bristles to the handles and add strips of the Silver Foil below the bristles.  The Scalloped Contours Dies added a fun stitched layer of Basic White.  We used Black Embossing Powder for the greeting — this was fun because some of the ladies at class had never done heat embossing.  It is still so magical as you watch it turn from powder to pretty, shiny letters all with just a bit of heat — so fun!!

Stippled Rose Best Birthday Wishes

WOW, this Stippled Rose Best Birthday Wishes card was super simple to make but so gorgeous.  The Stippled Rose Stamp Set gives all the flower details that make it easy to color with Stampin’ Blends and get wonderful shading with ease.

I used the Sale-a-Bration Softly Sophisticated Bundle (embossing folder) for the Basic White background layer, it adds a soft, elegant look to the card.  After coloring the flowers and leaves with Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, I used the coordinating Stippled Rose Dies to quickly cut the image out and add to the card front with Dimensionals.

 

MEASUREMENTS:

Calypso Coral — 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ — score at 4 1/4″; 3″ x 4 3/4″
Mossy Meadow — 2 pieces — 4″ x 5 1/4″; 2 3/4″ x 4 1/2″
Basic White — 2 pieces — 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″; 2 5/8″ x 4 3/8″; 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

Cupid’s Valentine Workshop — Marshmallow Mailbox

I have one final Valentine’s project to share with you — Cupid’s Valentine Workshop — Marshmallow Mailbox.  This fun mailbox holds a chocolate marshmallow heart that is a perfect treat for your little Valentine.  I know I would LOVE to receive this gift box, how about you??

The Bee My Valentine Bundle and Bee Mine Designer Paper were perfect for this project.  I added the adorable bee beside the greeting that is stamped on a Basic White heart that is die cut using the Adoring Hearts Die.  A second heart was cut from Basic Black cardstock, then cut in half and attached to top and bottom of the Basic White heart giving a nice little border about the greeting.  The opening on top of the mailbox is cut using the smallest banner Stylish Shapes Die.  I added little buzzing bees from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set.

Sweet Sorbet – 2 pieces – 4 1/2” x 6 – score at 1” on both short sides and one long side; 4” x 5”; 3” x 4” – with 3” edge at top – score at 1/2″ and 2”
Basic Black – 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Basic White – 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″; 2” x 3”
Bee Mine DSP – 1 3/8” x 3 7/8”; 2 3/8” x 3 7/8”
