Happy Valentine’s Kit Kat Holder

After we finished the cards at Cupid’s Valentine Workshop, we made this fun Happy Valentine’s Kit Kat Holder. I used the Bee My Valentine Bundle for the greeting and hearts and the Bee Mine Designer Paper pulled a little Petal Pink in with the Sweet Sorbet color theme. It was fun to add the red wrapped Kit Kat Bar inside. This treat holder really is quite easy and quick to make without a lot of supplies and it works for any occasion.

I love the label on the front that was cut using the new Thoughtful Expressions Die Set — this is definitely one of my new favorite die sets from the new Spring Mini Catalog. The stitched scallop edge is so pretty and there are 6 graduating sizes to work for so many projects.

The opening on the inside for the Kit Kat Bar is cut using one die from Wonderful Thoughts Dies. It was the perfect width and length.

What a great way to decorate a simple candy bar gift making it extra special.

Cupid’s Valentine Workshop – Fun Fold

Project 1 from Cupid’s Valentine Workshop – Fun Fold Cards. This is a set of 3 cards that each have a unique fold. I used the Bee Mine Suite Collection featuring the Bee My Valentine Bundle (stamp set and punch), Bee Mine Designer Paper, Sweet Sorbet 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon and Adhesive-Backed Hearts and Flowers.

The first card has designer paper Deckled Circles that create the card front (this idea came from fellow demo Brian King).

The left circle opens to reveal a cute bee peeking out with a set of Sweet Sorbet hearts.

Then open the right circle to show another set of hearts with plenty of space to write your message. The Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers added the final touch to this fun card.

The honey jars are fussy cut from the Designer Paper and attached with Dimensionals to the fun honeycomb print Designer Paper. I love this second fun fold card — it looks like a regular card front until you open the front flap to the right.

Peek-a-Boo — there’s a bee and hearts under the front flap. Now lift the card front up to show the inside of the card.

Honeycombs and a tiny bee are added inside waiting for your message. Thank you Mary Knabe for this fun fold.

Here is the template for this wonderful fun fold card.

Our final fun fold card is a 3-panel pop out card. The front of the card has the beautiful yellow plaid Designer Paper and a fun bee with Vellum wings and lots of hearts around him.

When you open the card you have more Designer Paper, another bee with his Happy Valentine’s Day greeting and three great pop out greetings. Thank you to Frenchie for this great card idea.

Fun with Watercolor Melons

In last night’s FB Live, we had fun with Watercolor Melons stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog!! I used Heartfelt Hellos for the greeting which is another Sale-a-Bration items. The designer paper on all three cards is from Most Adored which is another Sale-a-Bration item. You can choose any one of the three items with each $50 order you place.

Watercolor Melons is a stamp set I hadn’t planned to get but it’s FREE so why not!!! I started playing with it and it’s just a stamp set that makes me smile. The color combo is so cheery and makes me thing of warmer weather to come.

The Scalloped Contours Dies was used on each card — it’s such a great die set and so very versatile.

I added Black Classic Matte Dots to each card — they remind me of watermelon seeds.

Don’t you just smile as you look at each card.
