Tricks & Treats EEK! Halloween Card

I have a fun Tricks & Treats EEK! Halloween Card to share with you today.
The Them Bones Designer Paper provided the Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie color combo.

The color and Designer Paper did all the hard work, then I added the haunted mansion circles with bats on each side.
I just love how this card pops!!

Measurements:

  • Thick Basic White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black – 4” x 5 1/4″; 3 1/8” x 3 1/8”; 2 pieces – 1 1/2” x 1 1/2″; 3” x 3”
  • Pumpkin Pie – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”; 2 pieces – 1 3/8” x 1 3/8”
  • Basic White – 3” x 3”
  • Them Bones Designer Paper – 3” x 3”

Instructions:

  • Fold Thick Basic White card base on score line
  • Emboss 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” Pumpkin Pie with Basics (hashtag) 3D Embossing Folder
  • Adhere to Basic Black, then to card front
  • Adhere Designer Paper to Basic Black, then to card front
  • Stamp bats with Memento on both 1 3/8” Pumpkin Pie
  • Adhere 1 3/8” x 1 3/8” Pumpkin Pie, to 1 1/2″ Basic Black, then to card front
  • Punch 3” x 3” Basic White with 2 3/8” Circle
  • Stamp haunted house and “eek” with Memento ink on Basic White circle
  • Die cut 3” x 3” Basic Black with Stylish Shapes Die
  • Adhere stamped Basic White to Basic Blak, then attach to card front with Dimonsionals
  • Add Black Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems!!

Halloween / Hand Made Cards

Halloween Fun with Pick of the Patch

We had Halloween Fun with Pick of the Patch Bundle during last night’s FB Live.
Them Bones Designer Paper added a little Halloween intrigue to this shadow box fun fold card.

I shared the shadow box technique in yesterday’s post and decided I haven’t made one in a very long time,
so I made this fun card with a stack of Halloween jack-o-lantern.

The shadow box fun fold is great to send to someone you know will put it on a shelf for display and a reminder
of what an awesome friend you are for making this fabulous card.

 

card measurements:

Basic Black card base — 4 1/4″ x 11″ — score at 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″ and 6 1/4″
Designer Paper — 4″ x 4 1/2″
Basic White — 2 pieces 4″ x 5 1/2″; 2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″

 

After the shadow box card, I used the stacking pumpkins again to make a mini framed art.
I bought the 4″ x 7″ frames at Hobby Lobby a LONG time ago and decided it would work
great for a quick Halloween framed art.

Pick of the Patch Shadow Box Card

I have a fun Pick of the Patch Shadow Box Card to share with you today.
It uses the Pick of the Patch Bundle with Delightfully Eclectic and Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Papers
which are perfect for this fabulous Fall Card.
I received this card from Teresa Bayley in a card swap at Backstage in Las Vegas.
The shadow box template works well for this card.

I haven’t made a shadow box card in a long time — I will definitely be doing one very soon.
