Summer Fun in the Sun Project 3

It’s time for Summer Fun in the Sun Project 3!! This adorable box holds two ice pops and a sleeve to hold them, so little hands don’t get cold. I love how this box turned out.

The box is Granny Apple Green with Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper added to the front and lid. This marbled designer paper is so fun. I found the fun ice pop sleeves on Amazon, they are perfect to keep little fingers warm. A Mini Velcro Dot holds the box closed. I printed the “Have a Cool Summer” tag, fussy cut around it, then mounted it on Basic Black Cardstock.

Fun in the Sun Project 2

Today I’m sharing Summer Fun in the Sun Project 2. It’s a quick and adorable holder for a Tootsie Pop Sucker. I chose a Red, White & Blue theme that is perfect for 4th of July treats but simply change the colors and you have a treat holder perfect for any occasion.

I created the “sucker for you” circle and printed it on Basic White Cardstock using my printer and punched it out with a 1 1/2″ Circle Punch (retired). Next, I adhered to a Real Red Stylish Shapes Dies circle.

Measurements:
Azure Afternoon – 2 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ – score 1”, 3 1/2″, 5”, 7 1/2″
Real Red – 2” x 2 1/4″; 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Basic White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″; 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Brights Designer Paper – Azure Afternoon – 1 7/8” x 2 1/8”

Tootsie Pops were one of my mom’s favorite treats in April so I thought about her as I was making this fun treat holder.
I hope you’ll give it a try — super simple and quick to make.
